What to Know

Critics Consensus

Capping off Tommy Shelby's story with grit and swagger, The Immortal Man is a satisfying conclusion to Peaky Blinders that also stands tall on its own self-contained terms.

The film is literate, well-paced and has a confident swagger, with plenty of memorable moments for the fans. Go to Full Review

It’s often enthralling -- especially with Murphy at its heart -- though rarely explosive. "Peaky" fans won’t care a jot. Not with Tommy Shelby trotting around Birmingham like he’s in High Noon. Go to Full Review
Wendy Ide Observer (UK) Mar 9
With its muscular music choices, slick CGI and a gruesomely inventive use for a yard full of stolen pigs, the film doesn’t break new ground, but it should sate the bloodlust of fans. Go to Full Review

The film may not reach the grim heights of the show’s best moments, but if you’ve been pining for more of Steven Knight’s world you’re in for a treat. Go to Full Review

The film’s almost exclusive focus of tortured father-son dynamics — with Tim Roth playing a Nazi sympathiser attempting to supplant Tommy in Duke’s affections — will carry too strong a whiff of Brut for some, but there is plenty to enjoy. Go to Full Review

Jimmy Markham 7h I was absolutely floored that Tommy, Author & Ada all died!!!😳 The story is so well written, you became drawn to know each character by connecting. It bothers me , certainly not the ending I had hope for🤷🏼 Was a good story, very well written!!! See more shari w 9h The movie started very slow with Tommy's flashbacks nightmares and hallucinations. Then when they carry out the grand caper it went so fast it was impossible to follow what was going on. There was only superficial character development and this is so far from the quality of the Peaky Blinders series episodes that they should be forced to take it out of the movie title. Very disappointing. They didn't even do a good rendition of the original theme song that was so popular! See more DeVon 11h What an incredible experience. The cinematography, the MUSIC, the peacoats! It felt so good to return to Birmingham for another filthy adventure with Thomas Shelby. Cillian delivers exactly what your heart desires. See more Grace 16h A bittersweet end for Thomas Shelby. Couldnt have imagined it any other way. See more Jaimie 17h The end of the most amazing era although we are not supposed to speak on it by order of the Peaky Blinders 🖤 See more Peter T 22h Dark , mysterious , and a distinct departure from the series....very well cast and Cillian is his usual brilliant self. If you are not familiar with the totally amazing series it would be difficult to follow , so well worth binge-watching on Netflix before you view the movie. See more Read all reviews
